Last bit of Conference Material

The last bit of video from the Innovation Journalism conference. It is Keith Devlin of Stanford talking about induction, inference, probability and so on - the philosophical material we deal with in HCJ (in year one, to do mainly with Hume and also Aristotle and the enlightenment; and in year two with the Vienna Circle leading through Logical Positivism to Karl Popper). There is also important material here about the reliability of DNA evidence which is of use for The Innocence project.

KEITH DEVLIN: PART ONE

KEITH DEVLIN: PART TWO

Interesting, useful stuff I would suggest.
