YEAR 3/YEAR 2 UNI WILL PAY £50 per VIDEO

the University will pay £50 to any student who can film the event below. You just hire a shooting kit and do quick interviews with the participants and a few wide shots and edit together. If you do a decent job then I reckon that this could turn into a fairly regular source of income. And the brilliant thing is that it is also additional free practice, and brilliant for your confidence and CV. The bottom line is that there will be a massive market over the ten years for colleges and universities everywhere to film and edit lecturers, and so you want to get into that. First come first serve. But the money is there. It can all be a bit low fi. The bottom line would be to produce something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AJgyg8ZVJQ. Josh's interview with the Southern Echo guy would be a good model as well; as would anything by Catherine Hayes.

The itinerary for the day is as follows.

Studies team and two Congressmen, David Skaggs (Democrat) and Nick
Smith (Republican) to debate the success/failure of President
Obama's first year. As the celebration of the anniversary of his
Inauguration is overshadowed by the loss of the Massachusetts
Senate election and the devastation in Haiti, will be he able to
deliver the promised Healthcare reforms & and the shift in
American foreign policy ? Has the promise of 'Yes we can' been
fulfilled?
